This is a closeout mold- while supplies last. We will be re-releasing this design in the Stairway 2.0 version in the future. The revision will have increased symmetry, and will use a standard bathroom (circular) drain instead of the 3" slot drain. All remaining Stairway molds will be sold below cost.
Product Detail:
The 'Staircase' Sink Mold for concrete sink fabrication.
Small slot-drain style drain. Due to this mold design being discontinued, we do not make slot drain kits (plumbing for the slot drain sinks) for this mold.
Create a seamless integral concrete sink and counter top.
Reusable- Durable fiberglass construction allows reusing the mold time and time again. (Unlimited with proper care)
Easily pays for itself with just one use.
Sink molds have nice clean edges and surfaces.
Includes plexiglas slot-drain insert piece.
Each mold comes with handles on the inside of the mold to aid in pulling the mold out of the concrete.
Product Specifications:
Sink Mold Measurements: (Approx.) 13" Front-to-Back, 19" Wide, 7 1/2"D**.
**NOTE: Depth can be adjusted by trimming/sanding down the fiberglass mold to your desired size.
Remember to add 1" - 2" to each side to your measurements to account for the concrete sides of the sink.
Proper slope (5 degree draft or greater) on sides ensures proper draining and mold removal from concrete.
Mold Setup:
Apply a few coats of a strong wax, such as a carnauba based wax, the the mold prior to pouring concrete. We also sell a release agent that is safe for fiberglass, and does not leave an oily residue on the finished concrete.
Molds are designed to simply be siliconed in place, and concrete packed around them, or a simple form built up around the mold to hold the concrete in place.

Mold Removal:
WAX and RELEASE AGENT!! Using wax and a release prior to pouring concrete will usually will allow the mold to just be pulled out using the handles.
In some cases, adding cold water and ice to the inside of the mold for 10 minutes will shrink the mold just enough that removal is easier.
In extremely difficult to remove cases, the mold can be pushed out of the concrete through the hole made for the drain.
Mold Care:
Clean with a sponge after each use. Any damage can be repaired using epoxy or gelcoat, and sand smooth when dry.
Shipping Information:
Usually ships within 2 business days.
