Product Details: Topical Concrete Sealer. Satin finish. FDA approved for use in food preparation areas. 40% solids- builds a nice topcoat to protect the concrete surface. Dries to a clear, nice satin finish. Apply with a foam roller, mole hair roller, or sprayer.
Product Specifications: Available in 16oz, 32oz, 64oz, and 128oz containers. Coverage: - 16 ounce (1 pint): Covers approx. 45-70 square feet of concrete, per coat.
- 32 ounce (1 quart): Covers approx. 90-140 square feet of concrete, per coat.
- 64 ounce (1/2 gallon): Covers approx. 180-280 square feet of concrete, per coat.
- 128 ounce (1 gallon): Covers approx. 360-560 square feet of concrete, per coat.
Ideal concrete protection is obtained with 2 coats, applied 2-4 hours apart. Shake or stir sealer well before each use. (40% solids means it settles to the bottom quickly) Apply directly to clean, dry concrete. If using to re-seal a countertop, ensure the surface is clean (free of all wax, oil, dirt, etc.). Generally lightly sanding the surface with a 200 grit sandpaper or scotch-brite pad, followed by cleaning with denatured alcohol helps ensure a good bond with the old sealer coating. Clean out rollers or sprayer with water. Restrain from using the countertops for 24-48 hours, and no heavy use for 7 days. Apply concrete food-safe wax to the concrete a few days after sealer has been applied. Sealer should be kept at room temperature, and never allowed to freeze.
