LITHOCHROMEŽ Antiquing Release used as a bond-breaking barrier helps prevent tools from sticking and marring the fragile surface. The colored powder provides a natural, weathered antique appearance that accents the depth of the pattern and adds realistic variation to imprinted or textured concrete. DESCRIPTION
- Creates antique effects that add depth to pattern.
- Prevents tools from sticking - to avoid damaging the pattern.
COLORS
- Available in standard colors (see color chart below). Specialty colors available, but with a 15 bag minimum order.
PACKAGING
- 25 Pound Pails
COVERAGE RATE
- Average coverage is 3-4 lbs per 100 square feet.
- Coverage rates vary with pattern and color.
APPLICATION
- Broadcast over the surface with a mason's brush.
- Also brush release onto tools.
- Use with adequate Ventilation. Do not breathe dust.
- Wear safety goggles, gloves and dust (particulate) respirator.
KEYS TO SUCCESS
- A darker color of release is generally used over a lighter colored concrete for better appearance of relief and depth.
- Over-application of release will result in less texture in the pattern.
- About 90% of the release should be removed prior to sealing to ensure a good bond of sealer to the concrete.
- Remove the release from the highs, BUT NOT THE LOWS of the stamped imprint.

Due to shade variations associated with individual color monitors and printers, for a more precise representation, we suggest requesting an actual Lithochrome Release Color Chart by calling Scofield at 1-800-800-9900. We strongly recommend that a test slab be poured and approved prior to starting the job. Test slabs should be poured replicating jobsite conditions.
