PRODUCT DETAILS
- Add strength and beautiful concrete color to both vertical and horizontal construction projects with CHROMIX Admixtures for Color-Conditioned Concrete.
- Available in 5 or 6 Sack Mix (Ensures consistent color when the percent of cement in the concrete mix is higher- ie. 6 Sack Mix has more cement than a 5 Sack Mix).
- Coverage: One bag of color is designed to mix with one cubic yard of concrete, at either a 5 or 6 bag ratio. Most precast concrete (countertops, sinks, etc.) should be at least a 6 bag equivalent. Since one sack of cement is 94 lbs, a 5-sack mix is for 470 lbs of cement, and a 6-sack mix is for 564 lbs of cement.
- When used for precast concrete countertops, sinks, etc., the color can be added to the concrete mix, and then in an equal ratio by weight to portland cement to make a slurry of matching color (Make sure to calculate your ratio based on the cement weight only of the concrete- not the sand or aggregate).
- CHROMIX Admixtures are the water-reducing, set-controlling admixtures that produce durable and structurally sound architectural colored concrete.
- CHROMIX Admixtures are suitable for all types of colored concrete projects from floors and hard landscapes to cast-in-place or precast walls.
- CHROMIX Admixtures are available by special order in over 400 concrete color formulations in two convenient forms: CHROMIX P (powdered) and CHROMIX ML (mixed liquid in buckets and totes).

Color Chart:
Concrete colors shown approximate the color of broom-finished colored concrete flatwork made with a medium-gray cement and cured with LITHOCHROME® Colorwax™ or COLORCURE® Concrete Sealer in the matching color. Concrete not so cured will have less brilliance. Concrete should be batched and placed in accordance with Tech-Data Bulletin A-304.
Please note: concrete colors shown are approximate. Due to shade variations associated with individual color monitors and printers, for a more precise representation, we suggest requesting an actual Lithochrome Chromix Color Chart by calling Scofield at 1-800-800-9900. We strongly recommend that a test slab be poured and approved prior to starting the job. Test slabs should be poured replicating jobsite conditions.
