Product Detail:
- DuraSet™ resins are designed specifically for binding of cementitious materials including overlays, mortars, and grouts.
- Available in 3 product types:
- DuraSet™ 1000: Primer for Microtopping and Overlays.
- DuraSet™ 1001 (Fastset): Faster Drying Primer for Microtopping and Overlays.
- DuraSet™ VAE: Primer for 1/4" or thicker Overlays/Stampable Overlays.
- DuraSet™ 1000:
- All acrylic resin.
- Use as a primer for overlays and microtoppings.

- DuraSet™ 1001 (Fastset):
- Same all acrylic resin as DuraSet™ 1000, but with a faster drying time.
- Use on cooler days (<50°), or when faster drying time is preferred.
- DuraSet™ 1001 can be combined at any ratio with DuraSet™ 1000 to accelerate drying time.

- DuraSet™ VAE:
- A 100% Vinyl Acetate Resin designed specifically for thicker polymerized overlays, or mortar patches.
- VAE resins are a time tested technology and are best known for their adhesion and performance when thicknesses exceed 1/4”. (An all acrylic binder such as DuraSet™ 1000 is recommended for applications of 1/4” or less.)
- Recommended as a primer for all stampable overlay products. As a VAE, it is capable of being re-emulsified only one time, allowing subsequent applications to adhere very well, yet eventually forming a tough, durable and long lasting binder or film.

Product Specifications:
- FREE SHIPPING on 55 Gallon Drums! Please order 55 Gallon Drums separately from any other products, and when you Checkout from our store, please select LOCAL PICKUP as the shipping option, so no additional shipping charges will be added.
- Coverage: 5 Gallons will cover 400-800 square feet, dependent on application.
Product Application:
- Surface must be clean and free of all oils, grease, paint, sealers, or anything that would interfere with proper bonding.
- All crack repairs, scarifying and shot blasting should have taken place prior to pressure washing.
- All existing control and expansion joints must be honored as they will telegraph through the overlay.
- Pressure-wash all dust and laitents from the surface to ensure a clean surface. Achieve a SSD (Saturated Surface Dry) condition with water immediately before the installation to cool the concrete and decrease rapid hydration.
- No standing water should be present upon application.
- Prime the surface generously with DuraSet™ Polymer using either a short napped roller or weed sprayer.
- One generous coat is all that is required. Make sure that no puddles are present.
- Apply Microtopping or Stampable Overlay.
